Learn about native pollinators with the Barona Cultural Center & Museum. Together we’ll gain knowledge on how these animals contribute to a healthy ecosystem and how the Kumeyaay continue to steward the land in San Diego

Art Activity: Learn about native pollinators while making art with natural, native materials.

Schedule:

At 10AM, explore works from the Museum’s permanent collection and Sculpture Garden in a Kid-Friendly tour.

At 12:30PM, listen to stories, songs, and rhymes in Storytime with Ms. Katia, Librarian On the Go.

From 10AM-1PM, enjoy music by local DJ Pablo Dodero, read in a cozy book nook, sketch with water, and engage with materials and objects used by the Kumeyaay in a resource table led by the Barona Cultural Center.

*Museum admission is free from 10AM – 4PM for all visitors, with Play Day offerings happening between 10AM – 1PM.
