MCASD Downtown featuring the exhibtion Yolanda López: Portrait of the Artist. will be open 10 AM - 4 PM Thursday-Sunday. Through April 2022, free tickets will be available for two hour time slots from 10 AM to 12 PM, 12 PM to 2 PM and 2 PM to 4 PM.
All visitors must reserve in advance a timed-entry online ticket. If you have any questions regarding tickets and making a reservation or cancellation, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 213-633-5351. Staff will be available to assist you from 10 AM - 4 PM, Thursday - Sunday.
Visitors will enter the galleries based on capacity. After assessing overall capacity, visitors will only be able to enter the galleries after their reserved tickets have been scanned and they have arrived within the window of their two hourtime-slot. For example, if you selected your time slot to be 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM, you can arrive and enter the galleries any time between 12 and 2 PM.
We ask that our visitors take their individual health and the health of other visitors seriously by complying with all updated restrictions. Please carefully read our health and safety measures before proceeding to purchase your admission tickets online. The Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego reserves the right to refuse admission, control occupancy, or eject/remove any person for any reason without refund, including violating the code of conduct or exhibiting unsafe, inappropriate, or disruptive behavior, or behavior likely to cause damage. Willful violation of the Code of Conduct and COVID Safety Protocols will result in the person being given a warning by MCASD staff or security and asked to cease and discontinue the behavior immediately. MCASD reserves the right to take immediate action at its sole discretion.
Do not visit MCASD if you are feeling sick, have a fever, or have had any symptoms of COVID-19 or exposure to someone with COVID-19 in the past 14 days. Staff and visitors are required to wear a mask that covers your nose and mouth at all times on MCASD premises. Children 2 and under do not need to wear a mask. Maintain physical distancing. Stay 6 feet apart from other visitors and staff. Follow all signage and staff instructions.
